with the same gains, if not a bit more (in that you can keep HICAS if you want it, and very few people actually need to remove it). You need an NA diff, HICAS eliminator of some sort, NA steering pump, a few other odds and ends and WAY more labor to put it in than just dropping the diff and paying a guy to put them in. Even if you do the work yourself on the NA diff swap, it'll barely break even if you got a good deal on a local NA diff (i.e. no shipping that heavy ass part). That, of course, doesn't mean the price should be bloated just because it's a better deal but I know for a fact he's not making really anything on this...that's just how much it is. In fact, it was literally borderline to not happening unless the price was right around the max it is now. The guy is a hardcore racer...in fact, I think he's nuts. He wants these so bad for his car, and has studied the gains that he has to has to have them made in bulk otherwise no one will do it. So he's helping us out and himself. Honestly, it's a lot more than my friend's LS1 gears, but they sell those in droves I guess. I wish it were less, but I'm still quite pleased. Take what I say as you will, but regardless it will be easier and cheaper than swapping the diff. You have to pay to play and you'll be paying less on average. That's my opinion anyhow.
